MUsClE vs ImPoRtS

This post is all about the arguments that we have in our sector ( the automobile sector) normally armatures argue a lot on them but for us too in the sector its a biggie the "muscle cars" are worshiped by some and there are the "imports" which of course would be having the illegal mods to add a bit of spice to the "vehicle" and the "chics". I think this argument is a bit stupid, because both classes have there better points and their flaws. Imports tend to be lighter and faster in the corners providing better handling and stability with almost all the GPS and the latest technology going into the dashboard and the cockpit, the new ECU and not mention the electronic injection which the muscles lack, as the muscle's tend to be heavier have more base horsepower and torque, which if lightened up some can dominate in drag racing. Though there are some really good handling muscle cars out there such as the corvette, generally they are too heavy and have too much torque, which makes the rear end always want to come out in the corners.Imports excel in time attack or road racing, because they are light and have better suspension for those races. Oh and dont get me a bit wrong on this fellas but i love muscle cars more than the imports. yes, i would prefer the butterfly valves for extra air intake for a stock 440 engine with electronic injection, would just love to hear the crackle.Something like the dodge charger 1970 or the ford mustang Torino with a v6 would definitely be my type.

The one thing which i cant stand are the "RICERS". Especially in the streets of Bombay, Coimbatore , Cochin and Madras you get to see a lot of "Ricers". This is probably one of the reasons why i lost my love towards the imports to be true. "Ricers" are hooligans who imitate what they see on the Tv found in a super car and try to copy everything on to a stock Mitsubishi lancer or a skoda laura or even a Honda Accord without any professional touch. This include a Huge exhaust that serves no purpose but to make the car louder - Large spoiler on the back that looks like something Boeing made for the 747 - Lots of after-market company stickers they don't have parts from, but just looks cool - Expensive rims that usually cost more than the car itself - Bodykit to make the car appear lower, usually accented with chicken wire - Clear tail lights and corner signals - A "performace intake"- a tube that feeds cold air to their engine usually located in areas of excessive heat (behind or on top of the engine) i mean you got to be kidding me, what are these people trying to make a vehicle or a 'COFFIN'??. Please note that some Supras, Skylines, WRX's and other higher performance imports are designed to go fast, and are therfore not always considered rice, THEY DONT NEED ANY MORE MODIFICATIONS FOR CHRIST SAKE!. AND THAT IS THE NAKED TRUTH!
